How can I request a sample from ATIU?

Use the form above and select "Request a sample" under "What do you need?". Include your bottle type or format, artwork concept and expected volumes. Response within 24 hours. Physical sample ready in 5 working days from component arrival.

Where is ATIU located?

Two facilities in the Verona area, Italy. Operational headquarters at Via Enrico Fermi 59, 37136 Verona. Branches and registered office at Via Verona 16A-D, 37060 Sona (VR).

Does ATIU charge for prototyping?

No. Zero setup fees, zero plate charges, zero cliche costs. File preparation, layout adaptation and technical consultation included on every project.

How is pricing structured?

Pricing is built on three factors, in order of weight. First, the product typology: perfumery requires a protective top coating for chemical resistance — perfume means prolonged contact with an aggressive, high-alcohol formula — while spirits, wine, olive oil and candles usually don’t, since any contact is transitory and less aggressive. Second, the vessel size, which drives material and handling: our price list is tiered from small perfume bottles to 1.5-litre formats, and candles from 70 g to over a kilo. Third — and most importantly — quantity: the list starts at our 5,000-piece minimum, with volume thresholds up to one million pieces. An unusual vessel geometry or a special metallized primer can shift the price slightly; the complexity of the design itself barely moves it at all — with sublimation, a full-colour HD artwork and a one-colour crest cost essentially the same to decorate.

What is the lead time from purchase order to delivery?

As a rule of thumb, one month from PO. From the very first conversation our sales team provides a detailed retro-planning based on your volume — very large programmes of two or three million pieces are scheduled on plant capacity and take proportionally longer, and you’ll know the timeline before you commit.

Who owns the artwork and the design?

You do — always. Artwork and product-related design remain the brand’s intellectual property. ATIU’s IP covers only its own technology: the process, tooling R&D and technical developments made to achieve the application your design requires.

Does ATIU sign NDAs?

Yes, always — with clients and with partners. When and how it’s signed follows your preference: most large houses bring their own requirements, and that’s standard practice for us.

Will decorated bottles run on our filling line?

Our standard coatings and decorations are made from premium materials and are resistant in themselves, but every filling line has its own quirks that can’t be predicted from Verona. That’s why we offer a pallet trial on request: testing before production is always good practice, and there are several tweaks we can apply to increase the decoration’s resistance for a demanding line. If you already know your line is challenging, we recommend the trial.

How are decorated bottles packed and shipped?

We work to your packaging specification — whatever packaging your team has validated for coated bottles works for sublimated ones too. Shipping terms are agreed at quotation, typically EXW or DAP, and we ship worldwide: across Europe, to the Americas and the UAE.

How accurate is the colour match?

We match from Pantone references, Cromalin proofs or any colour standard you provide, reproduced through calibrated CMYK and matched as closely as possible — and you always approve the physical sample before printing starts. For production, acceptance is defined either by light/dark limit standards signed off by your team, or by a ΔE tolerance agreed before the run.

Which certifications and test documents can you provide?

ISO 9001 and our EcoVadis assessment are shareable on request. Food-contact testing is available on demand through accredited third-party laboratories — Intertek or SpeVetro (Stazione Sperimentale del Vetro) — typically within 20 working days of the request; transit tests and other specific tests run through the same long-standing partners.
